GSSG has an excellent track record for the efficient management of your donations . During the last three years, an average of 96% of donations has gone directly to program activities, primarily awarding scholarships to Guatemalan students.

GSSG has the Gold Star rating from GuideStar, a charity rating organization whose mission is to revolutionize philanthropy by providing information that advances transparency, enables users to make better decisions, and encourages charitable giving. GSSG has earned GuideStar’s highest rating of transparency and accountability to our donors.

GSSG is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. Contributions are 100% tax-deductible as allowed by law. Here is the 2016 IRS form 990 (2016Form990Package).

Financials (donations and expenses) are tracked using the Nonprofits version of QuickBooks. The GSSG balance sheet as of 31 December 2016 is included here as a pdf (Balance Sheet 12_31_2016) as is the profit/Loss statement for FY 2016 (ProfitLoss2016).
